Every choice available comes at a cost. If you stay at multiple luxury lodges during your trip, you end up with a different guide in every lodge, having to explain over and over what your interests are. Most often you’ll end up with other guests in the same vehicle, who don’t stay for the same length of time. Most of them only want to see the big five in 1 day. If you hire a day trip company that will drive you around, you will not be able to stay at the luxurious lodges in the Kruger and you end up exiting and entering the park every day, losing golden hour game viewing time.
